La Perla Marmaris

The renovation reimagines the entrance, reception, and lobby of an existing hotel as a welcoming and contemporary arrival experience. The design aims to refresh the identity of the building while respecting its coastal character, creating a space that feels open, relaxed, and inviting from the first step inside.

The renovated lobby and reception redefine the hotel’s first impression, offering a contemporary yet relaxed environment that balances function, comfort, and identity. The result is a welcoming arrival space that supports both efficient operation and a memorable guest experience.

Project Insights

Spatial Logic & Flow

The ground floor is reorganized with a clear and intuitive layout, allowing reception, lounge, and circulation areas to function seamlessly together. The reception desks are positioned as calm focal points, while lounge seating areas are distributed to support waiting, meeting, and informal social use without interrupting movement through the space.

Arrival & Lobby Experience

The lobby is conceived as a social and atmospheric transition zone rather than a purely functional space. Seating clusters, soft boundaries, and planted elements define smaller moments within the larger volume, encouraging guests to pause, sit, and engage with the space while maintaining visual continuity across the lobby.

Light, Volume & Atmosphere

Soft, diffused lighting highlights the curved architectural elements and enhances the sense of depth within the lobby. Circular ceiling features and vertical surfaces guide movement while creating a calm rhythm throughout the space. Natural light is complemented with warm artificial lighting to ensure a consistent atmosphere throughout the day.

Materials & Identity

A restrained palette of textured stone surfaces, warm neutral tones, and soft finishes forms a timeless backdrop for the lobby. Accent furniture and subtle color contrasts introduce character and energy, reflecting the hotel’s lively and social spirit without overwhelming the space.
